Learn more Frequently asked questions
Can I run the Government Platform on-premise?
Yes, the Government Platform can be deployed fully on-premise and operated completely disconnected from the public internet.
What components are needed?
The Government Platform consists of a central container-based platform where all data is stored and the frontend is hosted. Local client stations can be installed within government offices to capture and process data, integrating with the existing IT and AV infrastructure.
Can I connect my current AV or IT systems?
Yes, the platform is designed for seamless integration with your existing AV and IT infrastructures, supporting a wide range of industry-standard protocols, formats, and hardware. Whether your setup is legacy-based, fully IP-driven, or hybrid, the platform connects without disrupting your current workflows or requiring significant hardware investments.
It integrates effortlessly with systems from Bosch, Televic, Audio Technica, Taiden, Avonic, Kinly, Canon, and other widely used brands. Generic AV and control interfaces are also supported, ensuring compatibility across diverse setups.
In terms of connectivity, the platform supports IP-based protocols such as NDI and RTSP, traditional video formats like SDI, HDMI, and USB, and the widely adopted H.264 streaming codec, enabling efficient, high-quality video delivery across a range of networks and devices. For audio, the platform supports analog, AES/EBU, USB, and Dante—the professional standard for digital audio networking. Native Dante integration enables the platform to send and receive uncompressed, multi-channel digital audio over IP with minimal latency, making it ideal for setups involving Dante-enabled microphones, DSPs, and mixers.
Beyond AV and streaming, the platform also connects to your broader digital ecosystem. Integration with document management, case management, meeting preparation systems, and other information management platforms is handled via a robust REST API. This allows for automated exchange of agendas, metadata, recordings, and transcripts—both to and from the platform—enabling streamlined workflows across departments and tools.
Whether you’re operating on-premise, in the cloud, or across hybrid infrastructure, the platform is built to plug into your environment—delivering flexibility, interoperability, and long-term resilience.
Can I capture remote participants?
Yes. Remote participants can be captured and included using digital conferencing platforms. This allows seamless audio (and optionally video) capture from remote speakers, ensuring full inclusion in hybrid or fully remote sessions.
How can I prevent data loss because of network interuptions?
Data is temporarily stored locally on the Client Station in case of network interruptions. Once successfully uploaded to the central platform, it is deleted from the local station. Retention periods are configurable according to organizational or legal policies.
How is the data secured?
All data is encrypted both at rest and in transit. Processing occurs in a secure, access-controlled environment that meets government-grade security standards.
How is data deleted?
Data is deleted according to retention and legal requirements. Content is assigned an expiration date, after which it is automatically and permanently removed if specified.
Who has access to the system?
The platform uses Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) to manage permissions. You have granular control over roles, user groups, and allowed operations.
Does the platform support Single Sign-On (SSO)?
Yes, the platform integrates with a wide range of Identity Providers, such as Entra ID, Google, and local ADFS, using standard protocols like OAuth and SAML.
How are operations tracked?
All user actions and system operations are logged for a complete audit trail. Logs can be sent to a central monitoring platform such as Graylog.
Do I need to install software on office desktops?
No, for users, accessing and managing content is simple: all they need is a web browser, whether on a workstation or mobile device, to view, navigate, manage and control streams or recordings via the Content Management System.
